Not at all!
About 80% of the people attending the bash will have come on their own. The point of our bash is to meet new people and have fun.
Is there a set schedule?
Yes there is!
The bash will have a basic itinerary that has been well thought out in regards to group participation geared to everyone having a great time. Our bash will always have "free time" so you can go off exploring on your own. After all.. it is Las Vegas too!!

I heard these Bashes are just Meat Markets?
We always find that line of thought interesting, especially with our Agenda posted. We can't say what the agenda may be for other locations, but our Vegas Bash is, and has always been PG-13 rated.
My husband and I have been married 30 years so are certainly not looking, and for the life of us we cannot believe anyone would think we would put all this time and effort to the Vegas Bash just to have some "hidden" Meat Market or Sex Fest agenda. Kind of silly don't you think?
For those of you who have attended our Bash before, have seen my entire family, from 13 year old nephew to 75 year old mother sitting at our tables.
We're very proud of the Vegas Bash and hold it to the PG-13 rating.
Is there a dress code?
Yes and No!
Bash functions are geared for casual and comfortable dress. We do ask that everyone dress "dressy" for the Saturday night dinner/dance.. please no jeans, shorts or very casual wear for this evening only. The Friday night Costume Dance is a full costume dance!
**This year for our Breast Cancer fund raiser a 10.00 "Party Pooper" fine will be charged for anyone not in costume.
Why do you do the Vegas Bash?
Our goal is to put on a Plus Size friendly community event
We feel it's important to create a comfortable and fun environment for the Plus Size person. A place to feel comfortable and beautiful on the dance floor, to wear a bathing suit, to put on a gown and know you truly look Hot!
We spend weeks scouting out the best size friendly location we can find. Things like walking distances, ample seating and chairs without arms, aisles with enough room for our guests on scooters to drive around, even crawling around the bathrooms to see if the toilets are on the wall or the floor. We also request the hosting location to provide sensitivity training to their staff.
We have not found a location that rates 100%.. but each hotel we choose has many of the things the average person would not consider.. but are important to we people of size.
How can I model at the Vendors Fair Fashion Show?
The Fashion Show has been moved to Thursday so you would have to be already in house by Thursday morning.
One of the things we require from our Vendors is that they don't bring in professional models but instead, use our own Bashers to model their fashions. This adds to the fun of the Bash and gives you an opportunity to "walk the catwalk" right here on the Vegas Strip.
Everyone is welcome to model, we don't participate in choosing the models, we leave that to each individual Vendor.
Watch the message board for Vendors asking for models, or once the Vendor list is online, contact the individual Vendors yourselves.
Our various Vendors will be looking for models from in their fashion size ranges.. so anyone from a 1X to a 10X can have an opportunity to model
Are there Bash Fees?
You bet, but they include ALL bash Events, Games, Seminars, Club nights, etc...
We do NOT a-la-cart the Bash into separate fees.
As mentioned above, we host a BBW community *Event*, by looking at our Agenda, you can see groups and organizations from all over come to join in this event.
Our Bash is not intended for someone to come into a single event and then just leave.
To experience the Vegas Bash, you need to experience it as a whole.
Another reason why we don't split costs into different events is the way we contract with the host location,
In order to give you the incredibly low prices we can, it has to be a packaged fee.
The final main reason why we do not break the Bash up is to save us the nightmare of trying to keep tabs, sell tickets, and keep track of everything.
We have in the past allowed for a partial Bash under *very* special circumstances, please contact us if you might fall into some unusual category.
Smoking?
Bashers join us from across the country and the world so the question of smoking always comes up -
Here's the Bash scoop on it...
Indoor events, as in the past, will have split seating for smoking and non-smoking.
No smoking in the seminars.
No smoking in the Vendor Fair.
No cigars at any indoor event.
Just a note... The casino air system is set to do a complete air exchange every 7-8 minutes
Need a roommate? Have spare room?
Folks will be looking for a roommate this year more than ever.
It's unfortunate, but this year with the anticipated attendance, we *will* sell out of rooms.
